Stock wheel needed
A buddy in the Pottersville ,N.J. area (Larry McQueen ) needs a stock 16 x 6 wheel for a '51 or '52 F-1 truck . Any one out there have one ? Thanks ,Denny

Do you know how he's measuring that width? The stock F-1 wheel was 16" x 4.5" with 5 lugs x 5.5" bolt circle. The width was measured down inside the wheel across the inner base. I guess a 4.5" rim could measure 6" if measured from the outside of one lip across to the outside of the other. If it's a stock 16 x 4.5" that he's needing, that shouldn't be hard to find. I do, however, find Kelsey Hayes listings for 16" x 6" rims used by Merc and Lincoln in the early 40s if that's what he's wanting.
Unless he's needing an F-2 wheel. They were 16 x 6", but had the 8 lug x 6.5" bolt circle.

rim width
I think he is measuring from out side to outside on the rim . Went and measured a rim and it is just under 6 " on the outside and 4 1/2 on the inside . He needs a stock wheel for his '52 project .
