89 351w in a 86 f150?

Hi guys- I was wondering if i could put a 1989 351w longblock into a 1986 f150? I want to use the 1986 intake, distributor and carb on the 1989 long block, will that work??? Thanks

if your 86 engine was a 302 ,the intake won't fit the 351w.the 351w has a taller deck height,so the heads will be further apart.
if your 86 engine was a 351w ,it will bolt together.
