Front leaf springs

ok so on my 77 F-250 on the rebuild I will probably replace the front springs. Problem...It has three leaves in the front and all I can find for it is two leaves. Add a leaf in the front or was there some preoduced with three?

It's the same with the highboy leaf pack, some came with 5 leaves, some came with 6 leaves, i'm not sure why, the best i can gather is the HD44's had 6 leaves and D44's had 5 leaves, why the different leaf count on the 77.5-79's i don't know.

google custom lift kits
ik theres a place who makes lift kits with stock size leafs but it includes more than 3 leafs

I can find them with more than three but I dont want the front sitting higher than the back.

I have never seen a 771/2-79 with a 3 leaf pack front from the factory....more then likely sometime in the past the springs were sagging and someone added an add a leaf as a helper spring to stiffen the ride.........that would be my geuss.........
