Hi Fellows, welcome to the chapter! Sounds like a sweet pair of trucks! Just curious why you want to switch from longbox to shortbox?

Welcome aboard.

You just can't go wrong with a 79 Ford truck, long box short box or extendacab.

If it was me they'd both have to live

Rick.

Welcome to the chapter.
Shortboxes do look nice but I'd miss the extra space. Are you thinking of a stepside? They are not that common in the 73-79 era and would stand out.

a stepside was another option i had but if i do go that route i would like to get the 80's version i think the lines of it look alot nicer then the older one. but agian another personal preferance , and the space is nice on the long box but this thing wont be hauling much anymore goin for more of a show truck weekend cruiser
