Refresh Thread - My 1978 F250 "Old Blue"
Figured I would start a thread, but I didn't want to call it a rebuild because it wouldn't be fair many others here. All in all, my truck is in good shape. My dad and I did a good bit of work on it 15 years ago, including paint, engine, trans, interior, so I'm not that far off. I need to stop reading FTE because I always mage to stumble upon a great idea and think "I need to do that!"
My dad bought the truck new in '78. Its got a 400/C6, and it was originally two tone blue/gray. It was always a daily driver farm truck, but dad took good care of it. I took official ownership of it about 5 years ago. It sits a lot because it's rather thirsty and had no AC, but I want to change that.
I recently decided to breathe some life back into it, starting with getting some AC working again and making it a bit more efficient and consistent. Attached below is my task list with completed jobs in gray. It's an evolving list. For everything I get to make gray, I add two new tasks, it seems.
