Buckstop bumpers are ON!! (and running updates on modifications)

Finally ordered the Buckstop bumpers front and rear in steel gray along with a Warn 16.5ti winch. I'm having shackle points put on the rear bumper.

They have a nice special on shipping right now on orders made in December.

"flat rate shipping. Front, rear, winch. Any or all for $95 bucks!"

As my father use to say, you can't beat that with a beating machine. I saved more than $200!

It will be here in about 4 weeks.

Now to order the gears and lockers...

Got my camera ready. Some before and after pics.

I'm also going to make life easier for others that may want one but don't know about the mounting. I figure I will write it up with complete pictures.

Nowhere on the net can I find pictures of the installation or the mounting system of the Buckstop bumpers used for the superduty series.

New 285/75-16 Goodyear Silent Armor Pro Grade tires go on Monday.

And I thought I spent money like a drunken sailor...

Front, rear, and a winch = Merry Christmas

Update:

I am getting recovery points installed on the front as well as the rear. Will be able to still use the ford hooks if I want. I have not ever found pics of a Buckstop with this, so it will be a bit unique.

New Goodyear Silent Armor 285/75-16E are on.

Lights ordered:

Piaa 520 ATP (offroad beam)
Piaa 520 SMR (driving beam)
Piaa 1400 fog clear
Tractor lights for rear bumper

Other stuff ordered:

f-650 dash and switches
Dual air gauge

Front and rear lockers ARB
ARB small air pump kit
4.56 gears, and install kits both axles from Randy's

Tree strap, chain, extension cable, 1 large and 1 med ****** block.
five 3/4" bow shackles from mcmaster carr. High grade alloy steel 14000lb WLL
two ****** straps from Expeditionware

Factory tech Valve body

Rear door compartment storage kit from ford

This towboy don't want to get stuck again.

Boy, I've got a lot of work to do this winter!

It's kinda big, but if I cut out the passenger floorboard, I think it might clear the driveshaft between the tubs. Or I will have to go to a single tub sink. Oh, well I would at least get to keep the sprayer. Just got to find somewhere for the pump, tank, and water heater.

Wait a minute, how bout a heat exchanger. Yeah, that's the ticket.
Decisions, decisions.

You are my hero! Merry Christmas indeed.

I liked the Buckstop, except for the 'buck' part. Advanced Mfg made the bumper in my avatar for $1200 shipped! I had him put recovery points and a hitch receiver on it too.... I'll eventually put something on the X, so I'm anxious to see how yours turns out! Are there steps built into the ends of the rear bumper?

Btw, the old saying goes '4 wheel drive just gets ya stuck deeper in the woods'. I'm sure F&R ARB's will get ya stuck just that much further into the woods, eh? LOL! Can't wait to see it.

It's funny, but it is going to be somewhat like yours, Scott. Different engine, and smaller tires, without lift, but a lot of mods you already have. Jeese, you have a lot! I can't imagine what that ran you. It is interesting that I spent a year figuring out what stuff to get, and all I really had to do was look at your sig!

where did you buy the rear compartment door storage from?

I ordered my F-650 dash. arrived yesterday, and the wife saw it.

I love my PIAA lights. I painted them white as my truck and placed them on a defiant front bar that I painted white.

They are almost sold out throught the US. My local parts guy did a computer search of inventories around the country. He came up with a grand total of 10 in the medium flint/graphite color.

I suggest you do the same or have Ed FTEpartsguy find it in your color, buy it, and ship it to you.

You definately need some retraining in stealth techniques. How could you let her see it! You know they go ballistic!!

If yours is the tan parchement, give them a call in the morning to make sure they have it in stock and buy it! There seems to be more parts available in the parchment.
