Need help with 93 F350 1 ton dually with 7.3 International Banks Turbo
I just bought this pickup, and its my first diesal. Its been running fine until the last couple of really cold days. It needs new glow plugs, but the main problem Im having is when I get up to about 40 mph, it acts like its not getting fuel and wants to die. I changed the fuel filter up on top, but it didnt help. I dont know what to do now, and need help please.
Thanks for the help, and if anyone knows how I can get ahold of a Manual for it, free preferably, let me know.....

It is there, go in from underneath and look up just ahead of the axle, you should see it. If you change it yourself, be prepared to have diesel fuel on you before you're done!

First is it doing it on both tanks.
How much fuel is in your tanks. Several members have had issues with the pickup tubes inside the tanks breaking off. This causes them to run out of fuel while there is still several gallons of fuel still in the tank.
Testing the fuel pump is easy before you start buying parts. At the schrader valve on the fuel filter header you should have 4 pounds pressure and 1/3 pint of fuel volume in 10 seconds cranking time.
The fuel at the schrader valve should have no air in it just a stream of diesel.
It sounds like it is possible you are sucking ail inspect your fuel lines all the way back to the tank selector valve If problem is same for both tanks or all the way to the tank if only one, if there is a moist spot you may be sucking air. They will actually suck air with no moist spot as air molecules are smaller than diesel,
I have not had one of these pickups do this but I have hab the tank vents stop up or freeze up on big trucks and equipment letting it pull a vacumn on the tank and no fuel will come out.
