common rail set for 7.3 - conversion kit?
I read, I think Diesel Power mag, they had a wish list of stuff they would like to see in '10 and one was a mention of a common rail conversion for 7.3 which they said someone was working on. Anyone know anything about this?
Also is injection pressure holding the 7.3 back? Aren't the common rails something like 10000 psi higher then the 7.3?

Comparing the HPO system in a HEUI to the fuel pressure in a common rail is like comparing apples to oranges. JMHO

The IDM can handle higher RPMs, I believe Kevin Barr (mech181) has his truck tuned to turn 4000 RPM for pulling.

4000 is pretty damn good for a 7.3, but still a limitation compared to his non-7.3 competition.
