5.4L Triton Rebuild Question (Oil Galley Plugs)

Veteran builder of plenty of motors: return to stock and performance, but never tackled newer motors. Did so as a favor for my brothers friend. Ran a 5.4L Triton out of oil and spun a couple bearings. Problem is not with aligning cams, but with oil galley plugs. When the block came back from the shop, the olf freeze plugs were in a baggie. The 1.75 and 1.5 plugs were a no brainer and replaced with new. The problem is there were two small plugs, not threaded NPT like I'm used to seeing for galley plugs. At any rate, bought new ones but can't for the life of my find anyplace on the block where they would go. Being this is a different style engine I know there are not conventional oil galleys like with an internal single cam, so I'm wondering if these plugs even came from this block and may have been inadvertantly shoved in thie bag with the others. I don't have them on me and I don't remember their diameter, but I would guess they are around 3/8ths.

Any help would be appreciated.

You've got oil galley plugs at the front and rear about the middle of the block above the crankshaft. Make sure they're actually metric plugs-I've had one pop out on engine my post-build and cause all kinds of trouble trying to find a low oil pressure situation.

Thanks Johnny. I knew they had to be oil galleys because there was no scale on the old plugs. I also suspected the one in the back was the galley, but the fact the oil seal cover has a channel grooved in it made me think that it was there to oil the rear seal. The one up front totally threw me because I figured who's going to hide an oil galley under the water pump. At any rate, they're sealed up and the motor is back in the van. Thank you for your help.

Not a problem.
I was sure puzzled when I found that plug popped out on my 4.6L. I used an SAE plug on the front of the block on mine instead of the slightly larger metric plug, and it popped loose on the WOT 1-2 upshift when the oil pressure was high (7000rpm shift and around 100psi). It took me a few days of diagnosis to find it.
