95 F250 4x4 questions

I found a one owner 95 F250 4x4 with 351w. Truck looks good interior is in good shape and the motor has 97,000 miles also has 6 inch lift on 35" tires. I don't drive my personal vehicle daily and am looking for something to pull a trailer loaded with 4 wheelers and occasionaly a jeep. What are yalls thoughts on this year model and motor?

what about the 351w. Is it a decent motor or is it underpowered for the F250?

The 351 is a good strong engine. my dad has a 97 350 catering truck, the box with a days worth of food is atleast 3.5-4 tons, and at over 260,000 miles it is still running strong with only the basic minor maintnence over the years.

It should do ok towing the lighter stuff, might struggle a bit on hills if you have a heavy trailer with a jeep and some extras. I would have to downshift my 93 250 4x4 with 351 and 3:73 gears going up a 6% percent grade on the interstate if I wanted to accelerate at all. That was just the truck, no trailer.
I have to go from 5th down to 4th or 3rd to pass anyone.
