Alternator Size

Does are series trucks have the 96 or the 130amp alternator? I see 2 of them listed for my 01, but how would one know what they have in there now?
Thanks
Rich

The 130 Amp alternator is a larger diameter case.
Measure the one in your truck, then ask to measure the ones at the parts store or ask you supplier.

I agree that the 130 amp is larger. If your truck is fully equipped with air conditioning, power windows, etc., it probably has a 130 alternator.

Just put one into my 99 F150 and the size is the only difference plus the $10 extra cost difference from the 95 amp alternator.
