Need input on BFG Commercial A/T Traction Tires

I have a set of BFG A/T on my truck that have deep cracks around the circumference of the bead on all 4 tires. I had noticed the cracks but did not consider them serious until the shop rotating them said they are dangerus and not to tow at all. The history is 40 months old,44k miles, truck has always been parked indoors when not in use. Another truck with 34k miles 58 months old Michlins look good as new.

I had the Commercial Traction T/A on a Jeep Cherokee. They kicked ***. They were the best winter tires I've run. I've written BFGoodrich probably ten times trying to get them to make them in sizes for the newer Super Dutys with 17" wheels.
da-bees, Michellin and BFG are the same company, or Michellin owns BFG. They should have the same high standards. I'm surprised you had such bad luck although 44k miles isn't too bad for all terrain tires and you have 10k more miles than the guy to whom you're comparing.
