Don't give up. My 51 sat in a neighbor's yard for 18 years. He reworked the engine and part of the the brakes, started rewiring it and stopped. Everytime I mentioned it, he was going to get right back on it. Finally, I went up the 4th of July and told him I had to get it or I would be to old to every see it run. Sure have enjoyed piddling with it every sense. I have all the body parts off except the cab and have sandblasted the frame and got it primed. Noticed a water pump was leaking so go it on order now. Fixing to tie into the wiring next. Rethink getting rid of it, I agree with the suggestion to put it back there and cover it until you can get to it. Harley

WooHoo, Happy Sunday morning. Had a friend come over yesterday with his 1914 hit and miss gas engine, we hooked it up to my old grist mill and ground out some corn meal. It's amazing to see that old engine run. Click to see it run. Turn your volumn up.

my baby brother got married last weekend......we went back to IL for the wedding
I brought my oldest son back out here with me for the holidays break!!!
I am so flipping happy he is here.....all my kids together for Christmas will make it all the better, not ready for the split, ya know......
As for the snow, we got about 10 inches, not all of it stayed, but I made snow angels with my little ones and a snowman.....all in all, it has been a wonderful weekend~~~

Redwood hit the nail on the head. My first restoration project was 1939 M Farmall tractor that had been sitting in the pasture for 20 odd years. Could not wait to roll it out of the shop. Guess what, She is in the barn now and I crank her occasionally when I think of it. Too busy, spending my time in the shop with this stripped down F-1. It is a joy eveytime I get another item back on it. Merry Christmas to You All. Harley
