yes yes and yes.....the only bad thing is in the navy they do frockings so i won't actually get paid for it until about april or may. it's really lame cause they expect me to take on all the responsibilities and duties as an E5 but don't pay me for it!

Wow. I am going to try that with my employees. I will give them a raise, have them do more work but won't actually start giving them the extra money for 6 months. I am sure that will be a hot topic at the shop.

I know it wouldn't work. There would be a few hundred attorny's volunteering to handle the lawsuit.
So how does the Federal Government get away with it? Oh that's right, the are ABOVE THE LAW. LOL

yeah no kidding.....here is the really crappy thing about it though. lets say hypothetically i were to get into trouble before i started getting paid for E5 and end up losing rank over it. i wouldn't get bumped back down to E4 again it would be a loss in rank to E3. do not pass go do not get paid $200!

oh man i don't think i could make that drive again. i've done it three times in three years. i wouldn't put my truck through that kind of trip again until i get out of the navy and make one last trek across. i'm definitely gonna be flying. i'm flying into Salt Lake and spending a couple days with one of my friends and my brother and then we are renting a diamond star DA40 and flying it down to Logandale together. that is gonna be fun!

I saw one of those diamonds at the airport here in Chico. It is a cool little plane. Pretty fast also. I believe 150knots. As I recall, they have an onboard parachute for the airplane. I thought that was pretty cool too.

i think the newer ones do but i'm not sure about the one we're gonna be flying. cirus was the first manufacturer to come out with the onboard parachute system. they are still the high end manufacturer of personal aircraft. one of these days maybe i'll be able to own one

no but my brother does. i'm actually gonna be trying to get mine come January. there is a guy here on base that is putting together an aero club and the air station is letting him use a hanger on the flight line here on base to have the club house in and store the aircraft. he should be taking delivery of the first plane sometime in january and then i'm gonna start!
