Sam that is wonderful news. I will still keep her in my prayers. I know she will still have to get better after she is home. I hope and pray that she feels better at home.

I agree with ya. Last year for 4-H instead of doing a gift exchange for the kids, the kids decided to get presents for the kids overseas. Each kid bought for a girl or a boy in a age group. All the kids were happy. I was just proud of them that they decided to give up their gift exchange and give it to a needy child overseas.

The best part was when us leaders was talking to the kids about the x-mas party some of the kids brought it up. Us leaders can not bring things up like that. I just thought it was great. Our group got 8 gifts for the kids overseas and the 4-H club paid for the shipping. We still had a party but we watched movies and ate junk food.

It was!!

My grandma asked me over the weekend what happened to x-mas. I asked her what did she mean. She said that people are buying their kids everything and why. I did not know how to anwser her. All I could do is say that Jeff is not getting a lot of things for x-mas. Me, my brothers and sisters are just buying for the kids and we put a $10 limit on each kid. Then we are making a plateful of cookies or mixes in a jar and thats what us adults are getting from each other.
