Mech oil pressure guage location?

Where is a good spot that I can install a pressure guage tube on my 97 460? I dont want to plug anything critical that could cause big probs.
Thx

Does your truck have a gauge or an idiot light? I am not sure how the lights are set up but if you want to put in a mechanic gauge in place of the electrical one, or as a secondary to an electrical one, it goes into the driver side of the block just above the oil pan. If you want the two gauges you need to use a T fitting. If you just want a mechanical in place of the electrical its self explanatory, you take out the sending unit and put in a tube.

If this is not what youre looking for, I apologize.

My '96 460 had the sending unit in the back of the block(top side-behind intake manifold). When I put the Vortech supercharger on it, they supplied a "T" fitting to attach oil supply line to supercharger.

Small block stuff was always in the front/drivers side.

Get yourself a brass "T" and you're set. Make sure you keep ALL heat away from that plastic tube. Don't want to have it burn through and spray hot oil everywhere!
