Thanks Freightrain,and Xwick......my brother is a medical mess. I am amazed he is doing this good. I always tell my other 4 siblings....if it were one of us...we would most likely not have made it.

Off today, brought in some fire wood, emailed a few friends, and I think I'm ready for the SNOW!

 

Just decided to buy a 57 ford truck...and hope to give it a good home. It has all original driveline and brakes. Hope to make it a twin of my 56.
Restoring it will be fun,and a little different from the others,but the truck won't get all butchered up and it will stay all together....Least I could do for a survivor....Bill

I still need to put some more wood on my porch--to replaced what I've already burned. I hope we get some snow for Christmas--hard to get into the holiday spirit when I can still see the lawn.

 

Sorry to hear that but it sounds like he is a strong guy and has good family around him and I'm sure he'll come through it.

 

Monster-----yes he is strong and thanks so much for asking. He is a medical story waiting to be written. We have several companies wanting to write his life story. He has been written up in N.E. J O.Medicine many times.

Slappy....all told about 17. I only have 7 now and this 57 will be cool all done. I think I have the largest 53-56 ford truck stable in Ohio.....LOL
This 57 runs and drives good and all solid. Will make a great addition.
Also just got my new yblock paid for ...now have to pick it up.
The guy is going to set it right into my new build 56s frame. All I have to do is bring frame on trailer and he will install it with trans and driveshaft and radiator and steering column.
I am not a big fan of the yblock....but what are ya going to do? I want a stock style truck so decided to buy it. I can hear it now.....vroom vroom!!!lol

Have you put the panel on craigslist or any advertisement yet? I should have a panel soon, but with all that I am doing.....want to buy a few other brands like you...LOL
I have a 68 GTX in mind and a 70s Honda in mind.....yes Honda......they are cool little cars.
Maybe I will call you to store some of these things. You still have much stoage room left?

Spent the day looking at some old trucks and wow what a great guy. He is a gentleman and a scholar.....and will be back tomorrow. Figures when it snows ....the trucks come out of the woodwork...LOL

Finally getting good news on my investments after 2 years of this economy. Hope it keeps up.
Fed the squirrel(pet) some corn today,and he almost got in the house...LOL

No ads for the panel yet Bill. My father thinks he knows someone that may want it so we'll see if that pans out. My garage is full--I store a couple cars for my neighbor in the winter. Looks like the snow is here--starting to stick to the roads etc. pretty good now. Glad I put another load of wood on the porch this morning.

Been trying to go through a buddies NOS truck parts and figuring prices and how to sell everything. This guy really has a goldmine.....then got a 55 panel from California,and have to figure how to sell it also. Most likely wait till spring and then ebay it. I really love it,but found another and so ....well you know how that goes.
All our Christmas decor is up,and the village today.....finally picked up the leaves on the front devil-strip......Finally!! LOL

Did you go to Todds today? He shot a monster buck last week. I talked to him on Saturday. He was taking his daughter to a basket ball game in Barberton and I was taking my daughter to a basket ball game in Stow.

I had to go out my back field and chase hunters off. We love watching our deer from the deck on top of our barn. The deer live in the woods behind us...and the damn hunters think they can hunt on our land. A few miles down the road a hunter got shot in the face......I don't mind if they eat the meat. Most just want to be big-game hunters.
The guys I chased off came back....this time I called the cops. Bill
