Whenever you see any other Excursion you look at the front hubs (to see if it's 4WD) and roll the window down (to tell if it's a gasser or a smoker).

DAC: "You're a truck snob."

MEC: "Yeah, you get that way when you have the best."

On that exact line of thinking right there, it sort of makes me wonder why they didn't badge the PSD Excursions the way they did the F-250s and F-350s. I was thinking that last night when I was washing my Ex. I'm not much into badges, but it seems odd that they would label one and not the other.

I was wondering that same thing. Ford sure seems proud of the PSD in the pickup's, why not in the Ex?

you pull up at lowes and park 3 spots down from an expedition EL..... walk out right behind the couple with the expy and hear them go "where did we park?" *and have to walk sideways of the parking stalls and see the expy*

they load their ply wood on their small trailer.... i load my fence slats and redi-crete all in the back of the excursion!!

the gentleman smiled and chuckled.... said he never had trouble finding his expy before today lol...never had a bigger "station wagon on roids" park next to him he said lol! then asked if all i bought fit in the back... i said with room to spare lol!

It drove surprisingly well it was low in the back but not horrible considering 2300 lbs of grain me and all my brewing gear probably close to 3000 lbs. The plan was for me to take 20 sacks, buddy underestimated how many sacks his F150 could take by 30 and even that was too much. See Exhibit A

You know you drive an Excursion when it has more interior room than the apartment you lived in when you were 18.

You know you drive a DIESEL Excursion when George Takei makes a Facebook post equating big diesel vehicles "rolling coal" to having issues with the size of your, uh, junk-- and you feel the need to correct him on it. (okay, I don't currently own a diesel nor an Excursion, but he did make the post and I did get all defensive).

You know you drive an Excursion when you pull into a parking spot at the grocery store, get as close as possible to the car in front of you, then worry the whole time you're inside because the rear of your rig still sticks out into the driving lane...
