Is there anyway to flush the cooler.
This is happening way to often for there not to be a fix or cure.

Do you have a coolant filter on your truck?

all that does is make it a false reading! If you need to do that you need a cooler and/or head gaskets and possible an EGR cooler. The spread isn't due to faulty wiring. it could be, but usually it is what is listed.

I have flushed cooling system, installed ARP head bolts with new Ford head gaskets, installed IRP external oil cooler, IRP coolant filter, 4 inch turbo back stainless steel exhaust system, new thermostat and both ECT & EOT sensors & EGR delete.
Where do I go from here ??????

You could have a bad water pump. What are your temps when it throws the code?

I didn't write them down but there was 34 degrees difference between the two.
I also checked the FICM and all voltages were in specs.

Well they are going to be important to figure out the problem.
For instance, if the ECT is 160° when it's fully warmed up then you probably need an new thermostat. If the ECT is up over 210° unloaded then a water pump would be more likely.

I will recheck the temperature and give you the temperature and the voltages.

Check the #'s after a cold soak! Watch the #'s and see if they rise equally and note at what temperature they start to split off.

Is it possible you have a hose pinched to the external cooler?

Does the IPR cooler still use the filter base?

Could still be in bypass causing the hotter oil readings.

The IPR unit uses it's own filter housing, the EOT is relocated to the oil cooler Input hose. I would think that being out on top of the oil cooler verses being on top of the block it would be cooler.
