I LOVE MY IPHONE!!!! best thing ever!!! just need to get that remote start now to make it ever sweeter! anyone know roughly what it would cost to buy that remote start alarm and have it installed?

I want that Vette too! that car is sweet and it would look great in my driveway parked next to the SD. I know it's a chevy...but it's the only chevy i'd drive/buy!

 

That is a pretty cool ap...but don't have coverage in my area for iphones. I use a system from Ziebart that gives me 3/4 mile range with feedback...unlikely that I'd ever need to start from further away than that.

 

How much does that thing cost?
And how much a month?

 

I have a blackberry now i am on the fence wether I want to switch to an iphone Anyone already switched? How do you like it?

 

If you already have a viper remote start its a 299.99 add on, if not I just went to best buy and priced it complete. Its 520 installed for our superdutys plus tax. The first year of service is free after that its 29 a year. Not bad at all in my opinion. Especially if you cant plug your truck in on cold nights and you dont want to go out, you can just wake up, press a button, let it run for a bit and shut her off! Killer

I have a jailbroken Iphone now, I have tmobile unlimited everything for 89.99 a month. If you buy a Iphone guys on craigslist can unlock it for 20.00 bucks.

There are so many cool apps its ridiculous.

Pretty cool. The Iphone does have tons of nice apps.

No way in hell I'm paying what they want for an Iphone and the monthly fees. I hate spending the $50 a month on a cell I got but its a business expense for me. I think I'd probably break an Iphone too easily regardless plus cell coverage pretty well stinks.

 

Jailbroken means the software is unlocked so you can use it with Tmobile and not have to use ATT.

Ill tell you what, my Iphone is probably more durable then any nextel I have ever had, I have dropped it a million times and nothing.

 

jailbroken = means the phone is availble to use on any network not just AT&T...not sure how this is done but like posted before there are many people that can do it for you.

the plan I have is $120/mo total and that includes my wifes phone and my Iphone . if you get an Iphone you have to get the $30/mo data plan to go with it...ontop of your cell minutes package.

I switched from a nice phone on Nextel to AT&T and the coverage is alot better in my area plus all of the cool things the Iphone does games/apps/internet it was totally worth it! FYI...I am posting this message from my Iphone...

 

Make sure if anyone hooks one up that the install installs some kind of wait to start so that your glow plugs can warm up.

 

Man I love iPhones. Too bad the Viper Security System is a complete piece of crap though.
