Exclamation 12 volt timer for a home made alarm

I have an EXTREMELY hard time waking up. My current alarm of a so-called 110db can barely do it. I got the siren off my wifes old silverado and that thing is fairly loud. I have a 12VDC power supply but need a timer for it to kick the siren on at 0430 weekday mornings or whenever I set it to. All I can find is ones for wild game.
Wondering if any of yall might have some suggestions.
Thanks.

Thankful that I am not your neighbor.
.
How about buying a 110 to 12v power converter and a lamp timer?
.
What time do you head for bed? Only reason that I ever have that hard of a time waking up is because I stayed up too late the night before.

A 12V/1A transformer running off that timer should work, I would think... A power outage would cause a problem unless that timer was run off a UPS...

Can't think of any way to rig that siren into a digital clock - at least, not very easily... Would require a relay circuit but I'm not sure if the output on a digital clock's alarm is enough to trigger a relay...

One of those mechanical wind-up clocks might be fun to tinker with... I don't know if the "Big Ben" wind-up is still being sold but they were loud...

No need for a siren - just hook one of the battery charger leads to each of your big toes.

Actually, I almost kinda envy you... I wish I could sleep soundly... On average, I wake-up about 6-8 times a night - and that's on a good night... A mouse farting in the next room would wake me up lol... I hate it and I think it's contributing to my migraine condition...

You need an FT-247B by Alarm Saf. I can get them through work if you want.

Oh and as far as hard time waking up, I hear ya! Waking up is the hardest thing I will do all day. I have narcolepsy which plays a large role in that. Do you feel tired throughout the day? I have found that getting up and turning on the lights helps. ThinkGeek.com has some cool alarm clocks as well.

Watch out for a cheap or scrapped coffee maker. One I ripped apart was based on a digital clock chip with the alarm replaced by a relay to switch 120V to the heater. It would be easy to wire up an outlet instead, then just run the siren off a 12V AC adapter plugged into that. Googling the chip part number should find a data sheet, if you want to add a Snooze button.

You can buy a cheap fish pond timer, last time i checked Walmart had them. Basically, the 120-2-12v stays out of the water and the 12v DC leads can go to whatever.

Dude, I understand about being hard to get up, as others have suggested, unless you are deaf, you have an underlying medical problem that sooner or later might lead to death. It might be as simple as diabetes.

I would follow what Shorebird suggested with one exception....skip the battery charger and put in a 120v to 12v transformer. GVI GV-TRAN-12500DC Class II Plug-In Transformer (12V DC; 500ma) GV-TRAN-12500DC 085903034239 It's cheap, too!

Thanks for the vote of confidence. However I picked the charger for use as it has the added secondary uses.

Ah yes, practicality and/or dual use. I picked the transformer for compactness. A night stand has only so much space.
