List of axles by year?

Is there a list somewhere of the axles used by ford through the years to the present, and their brake and gearing configuration?

Like my 1991 10.25.
There are two configurations that I am aware of a semi floating and a full floating, there are also 2 1/2 inch wide rear shoes and the 3 inch wide ones.

I believe the 3 inch shoes were used on the full floater axles.

Anyone have a link?

Found a good/useful link

I found a good/useful link.

Here is a complete list of quite a few axle makes including everything used in ford trucks throughout the years.

It does not list the brakes though.

LOOKING FOR AXLE

I'm trying to find a right rear axle with 34 spline for a 2001 F150 that has an 8.8 ring gear but the differential cover has 12 bolts in it. Can someone out there tell me where I can find one?

Here's a couple of updates.

On Bronco the change from 9" to 8.8" was 1983.

1983 = 9"
1984 = 8.8"

I recall thinking I should buy one a year old to get the 9" but my 8.8 turned out fine for all I did with it, except driving beyond axle deep through a river once.

FWIW my 84 came with a D44 front, thought they all did.

Cheers,
- Jeff

Turns out I think I have to correct myself:

Bronco:
1983 = 9" (had that right)
1984 = 8.8 and 9", tow package seems to have 9"

Thanks/later,

I would think that you would want to break out the TTB Dana 28, 44, and 50, and add the TTB Dana 35 for the Explorer. You do differentiate the IFS in some of the entries, but not with the 44. The TTB's are pretty specific axles to make a complete separate entry.

I'm not sure what the "TTB" is, but if you can tell me where the basic info for the axles mentioned is on the web, I'll gladly add it.

I'm not an expert on all the models and their variations (understatement).

TTB is twin -traction beam which are the axles used by 80-98 F-150's, Bronco's, 250's, 350's to 85, Rangers and Bronco 2s and Explorers til the torsion bars. I know, Bs and 150s to 96.

What I found on the TTB.

The TTB front axles are variations of the Dana 28, Dana 35, Dana 44, and Dana 50.
Common applications.

1980–1997 F-150/F-250
1980–1996 Ford Bronco
1983–1997 Ford Ranger
1984–1990 Ford Bronco II
1991–1995 Ford Explorer

They say that this is an incomplete list referring to common applications only.

Please tell me if an axle, from a 2008/09 Ford F350 Dually, can work with or is it compatible with a 2000 F350 Dually 6.8L V10?
