trying to replace my knuckle seal, but something doesnt seem right, there is a big metal disc that seems to be part of the axle, the knuckle seal is between that and the ujoint, and i dont see how it comes off being the I.D. of the seal is smaller than the O.d of the disc. any help would be appreciataed i gotta head out of state asap

 

That metal disc you have your finger on is part of the seal, beat it off with a hammer, your gonna need a special tool or something homemade to put the new seal on, there a ******* getting on.

 

it really did look like one piece, but i little air chizel action and no prblem
