I was noticing this morning on my way into work that my climate controls look very dim. The dash light brightness is all the way up but they still look dim. Any ideas?
yeah ive got the same problem, also i have to turn the dial with the numbers for the force of air all the way then back to get it to light up. i wish there was a bulb or something to replace
There are bulbs in there, 3 or 4 I think. You have to pull the climate control module out, 4 8mm screws. There are small black caps on the back twist them out and the bulb pulls out of them. Now you can spend about 4 bucks a piece to buy them from Ford with a new cap or just go to the auto parts store and buy the bulbs. Pull the old bulbs out of the cap and insert the new one. You probably only have one out but change them all while your in there. This is common. Just dont touch the bulb with your skin as you will transfer oil onto it which can shorten its life
