well most come from ebay or private sales, they are not plentifull by any means. The last run of them was about 3 yrs ago and only 5000 or so were made. other wise you have to look for a original kit from the 70s or early 80s. I have been hoarding them up for a few years so I will have a stock pile to build from for years.
That is way cool, but the hot wheels sold at Walmart would have to be long out of stock since they came out in 1999. Would be nice to build a dent model like your own dent. Be cool if someone were to produce a model us FTE member could get first dibs on.
yep i remember a few months ago we all tried to get a few companys to make a few for anyone who wanted one on here and the one emailed back and said it would cost alot of money (dont remember how much) but it would be pretty sweet to find the dentsides!
sorry for the confusion,I was refering to a newer release of the kit.The pic I posted above is the model king kit from 05? or there abouts. The origional 70s kits can run $100 or more depending on how rare it is.The newer kits run from $25-$45 average. If you are interested in a kit email me and i will help you track one down and get you pointed in the right direction for a 77 ish grill.
i have the "miller hobbies" hot wheels, and 2 of the "attack pack" dentsides. i will buy the harley-davidson hot wheel if isee it. the harley-davidson hotwheels would be cool to display with my bike at the bike shows.
