spare tire ?
hey guys, got a quick ? for ya, i have a 00 F-250 and i cant get the spare tire out. the tools located under the hood are there but im thinking there is a key of some sort that goes on the end of the tool? because it doesnt grab anything at all, i bought the truck used so if there is a key i dont have it and how do i get it down, thanks.

You can take a cheap 9/16 socket and about 2' of extensions. Drive the socket onto the lock, and pull it off. Then the square end of the tire tool will lower the spare.

Great advice Huck, that's how I got mine down, popped the 'lock' out and it's good to go with the tire tool.
