Time to get our trucks together!

With 2.0, I am game for Charleston or Bridgeport or anywhere else in the state.
As of right now, looks like more southern people to me again.
What sort of place would you like to have the GTG?
Resturant, several at the mall with tons of parking, Outback, Arby's and Garfield's along with everything in the food court.
Several others downtown Bridgeport.
Also a couple parks with grills available, first come first serve though.
Several parks with open shelters in the area, but if the weather is 1/2 way decent the shelters will probably be full, they book in advance, almost a year ahead as of last year and 95 dollars for the day.
They have grills close by, some have water, most have electricity.
Two bigget parks are either Clarksburg at the VA hospital or again Clarksburg located here in Nutter Fort.

Depending on the size and what is needed, I can suggest making a base at Coonskin Park, Magic Island or the park beside the Charleston Moose Lodge. It really depends on the size of the gathering and exactly what everybody wanted to do. I do not know if "Dollar Danny" would make us get a parade permit to stage a town drive through. I would have to check with my buddies on the police force.
Give me some ideas at the size of the group and what you want nearby.

Folks, I'm pretty easy....we just want to get our folks together and show off the trucks! Right now I'm in DC on a project that looks like I'm gonna be here M-F from now through April. Since I'm only home on weekends, I may wind up missing the meet...but I will try!
Coonskin sounds decent.... as does Bridgeport.
Remember, all we really NEED is a large public parking lot where we can get together for a couple of hours. Heck, it's gonna take that long to meet everybody and just walk around looking at the trucks! If we want to really try to grow the group, we could create a flyer for the meet and distribute on local bulletin boards (grocery stores, auto parts stores, Ford Dealers, etc.) to bring in some new folks.
Before this trip to DC, I was planning to bring a 10 x 10 canopy, a table with a couple of chairs and the laptop with the wireless card so we could show new folks the site and let them sign up on the spot. Maybe a cooler with some drinks too.

Sure is a hard state to have a GTG in.
Couple in that corner, few over on that side, couple more down in the other corner, a couple more over on the other side and a few in the middle.
No good roads to get everyone in one place or even two places without someone having a long drive.

With the economy the way it is, lots of us can't really afford to do a lot of driving.. Whatever the group decides, we will try our best to make it!
