NH March Meet - Maple Crawl
March is HERE! How many are you are up for a Maple Crawl this month?
March 19-20 2016 is Maple Weekend here in NH!!!! I figured we could get together to tour a few of the local Maple Farms (and sample some delicious maple syrup).
I planned out a route mostly around central NH, just north of Concord (Mostly in Loudon). Why? Well, why not?
This meet would start earlier than the average meet about 7:30 AM and end whenever you decide to head home.
Right now I want to gauge on how many plan to attend- also, if Saturday or Sunday would be better? The biggest difference (as I see it) is a Saturday meet would start us early with a Pancake Breakfast at NH Pancake House- hence why I need a good headcount to give them in advance. A Sunday meet would start later in the morning with a breakfast of Pop Tarts and OJ from your own kitchen! Unfortunately, the awesome Pancake House I have in mind to go to is closed on Sundays.
Tentative Saturday schedule would be meet up in Concord off Exit 14 around 7:30, so we could head out before 8AM for breakfast (about 30minute drive North up 93). Breakfast could hopefully end around 9ish, when we’d be back on the road to drive south about 20 minutes to the first Maple Farm on the Tour. From there, I added a leisurely schedule with 6 total Farms on the route to tour. Note: not all of them have to be attended. Some are just minutes apart from each other. Ending the tour on Rt. 106 in Loudon, just minutes from Rt. 393 and Rt. 93.
Tentative Sunday schedule would be similar but we probably meet in Concord closer to 9AM and just head to the first Maple Farm on the list.
What I need from you-
Are you interested?
Can you commit to going to a meet on Saturday, March 19th or on Sunday, March 20th?
Will you be bringing anyone with you (this is for a headcount of how many people will go to breakfast at the Pancake House)?
Thanks!!!
