Did I wire the headlights backwards?
'78 F150 4x4 Dentside 400 "S" VIN
I replaced both headlight wiring harnesses due to corrosion. The harness was colored red-green-black. I wasn't thinking, but the truck wires are also red-green-black and I wired them color-for-color.
The headlights work, but when the high beams are on the blue light is out. When I hit the HB floor switch, the blue light comes on and the high beams are off.
Obviously something is backwards, but since I just got the truck and the headlights didn't work, I wasn't sure if I reversed the wiring. Will swapping the red and greens correct the problem?
