North Texas FTE first meeting tommorow!
Here's the details:
When: Saturday January 4th 3:00pm
Where: Grapevine Mills Mall Parking lot near the steak and shake
Directions: http://www.grapevinemills.com/index2.html
What to bring: Yourself and your ford
We'll mostly talk trucks and such, but we'll talk alittle about where we'd like to go with the club and if there is enough interest in it.....so if you have an idea let us know.
Starting in Feb. will go to meeting on the second weekend of each month on a Saturday or Sunday and at a meeting place that works for all (this one was thrown together the best I could)
If you go tommorow look for my '79 f-150 (dark blue with a powder blue top) and if you need help give me a buzz on the cell phone at: (940)-368-2818
Hopefully we'll have a decent turn out and next month we can have it planned even better and maybe get it started where we have officers (if we decide to do such a thing).
As far as dues are concerned there will be none, if we ever do a newsletter it will be via e-mail so no costs will be involved.
Hope to see and meet several of y'all tommorow.

Well apparently there aint enough around here either. HAHA. Seriously it was just a combination of things today....my lack of letting everyone know soon enough, the weather was perfect so everyone probably had things to do. It's cool...I had several good laughs laughing at some of the people and got a few thumbs up on the way so it was fun

It's cool.....sometimes people get busy.
It's for sure on for the 2nd Saturday in Feb...same place and time until I get some input. I'd really like to change it but I don't want to be sitting inside a resturant for 2 hours waiting on people. lol.
If you know of a good place LMK and we'll figure something out. Someone suggested meeting at Marshall creek which would be really cool....especially if some of you 4x4 guys came out and gave trails rides or something. We might want to wait 'till the weather got nice for that one.
So if you have an idea for a meeting place let me know.....also, how do we want the club to be set up, like have officers and all that or just be a club that meets up and hangs out? Need some input here.

Too bad I'm farther "North" than all you "North Texans"... There's a coupla other guys that are farther north than I am even. Has anyone ever thought of that before? El Paso is like the farthest west but I'm in West Tx...I'm farther North but ya'll are North Tx. What's up with that??

You ever listen to country Johnny? If so, do you know a song called Levelland by Robert Earl Keen? That's where I am. Great big old Levelland Texas. And since not many people know where that is, it's 30 miles (give or take) West of Lubbock.
