Well got the hood back on ol' Riff Raff, did the nutsert repair kit on the hood threds, worked great and wasnt to bad to do! Installed the hood latch dow and spring (Bye Bye Ugly Hood Pins I am so sorry to see you go).



Hood Latches but still need to be adjusted a bit. But it closes! Tommorow it is off to Tom Culbertson (Local Legendary Custom Car Builder) for the real fun to begin, Custom grill and headlights as-well as Custom front and rear bumpers. Riff Raff will be bitchen in a few weeks!

Lookin good! I started my fenders and hood mock up this week everything seems to be going well but i need hinge bolts for my hood. Are you going to only use the stock latch? Ive heard of hoods flying open at highway speeds so im not sure how ill keep it locked.

 

I am most likley going to use the stock lock on it, Most of the people I run with said that as long as everything is adjusted right, I should not have a problem. But thats the key I guess, I will just have to keep adjusting until its right. lol, the guy who is helping me with my grill and bumpers had that happen on his 49 ford shoebox, talk about something that would **** you off!

Riff Raff is at Toms shop, grill is out, bumpers off and some minor metal work done! Custom bumpers and pinching of the front fenders and new grill to come!

 

For some reason, I just love Black 56 fords. Looks good and good luck. Love the pics, keep them coming.

 

Today was a great day, Front Fenders Pinched 2 inches on each side, Frenched antenna in the passenger fender, recesseson fenders cut for front bumper. Awsome, Awsome Day!

 

Wow things are starting to take shape, Headlights are in, antenna frenched, and vent louvers gone, Now for the grill itself!
