(2005 6.0 Super Duty, Automatic Trans, the cooler is deleted but valve is in place and hooked up.) I've noticed that lately it takes less rpm for the turbo fart to happen than before. I used to have to get the RPMs up a bit higher before letting off the accelerator peddle before it would do it, now very little peddle and letting off it will flutter quite a bit. Do you guys know of any indication for this?
I returned from an RV trip for or so weeks ago, towing a 12K # fifth wheel trailer, including grades in the mountains. I'd think the turbo got a pretty good workout on that trip. She's running pretty darned good, just getting a lot of flutter at even low speeds. Cleaning eh?
