E4OD Doesn't Go Into D1 From Neutral
When I put my E4OD trans into Drive from Neutral, it doesn't go into D1. It goes into a forward gear, but it feels like 3rd or 4th, and it slips.
If I put the trans into 2nd rear, then back into drive, it goes into D1, and shifts OK.
Is this a solenoid problem?
