Weight of 2V?

I'm building a mud buggy ranger using the chassis of a E350 that has a V10 and a 2wd transmission. I plan on running it through a divorced transfer case when I find one. I spent the weekend moving the rear axle forward about two feet using chevy springs and now I need to move on to the front. For the front I have a kingpin D60 but have not gotten any springs yet to mount the axle with. I'm thinking that I'll need softer springs than the SD came with. So I'm looking to see if anybody knows the weight of a 2V, so when I'm at the junkyard I can guesstimate if whatever vehicle I'm looking at might work for me.

That's heavier than I thought it would be. I guessed 100lbs less.

Got any picts of your progress? I'd like to see your rig go together. I built a buggy out of a leaf sprung F350 460 and removing one leaf did the trick perfectly on the front. The rear I rolled foward and kept removing then trimming leafs down till I got it right. It's stilll was a heavy buggy so soft and flexy as I thought wound up being too soft. At least with leafs the packs are simple to manipulate.
