So I know that this is an old post, but I'm just now catching up. That stinks that you blew so many E4ODs, because I LOVE my OD... but I blew mine once too. You should know that there is ALOT that you can do to these transmissions. My transmission came in 3 seperate boxes from ups, and there isn't much E4OD left, but it is great now. I plan on keeping the same trans behind it when I swap in a big block (Well same trans in a big block core)

Its a good idea that you do something to it. Stock E4OD's suck. My friends dad just lost his E4OD. Go figure. Might make a few bucks off my old one though. Lol

Funny you say that. There IS rust, just been fixed. Well, concealed would be a better word. I bought it off ebay, met the guy 400 miles away at 4 am. I don't recommend buying a truck in that way. He said "no rust I can see". Well, he must have been in the house when he looked! In all fairness, you couldn't see it, but it's clearly there and has been bondoed and who knows what else
