F-800 429 Oil Choice?

Picked up a 87 F-800 With a 429 Gas Job. Need to change the oil. Whats the best oil grade to use 10w-30? Going to be run mostly in the winter, 5w-30?

Anyone know the capacity?

We always used 20W40 at the dealership I used to work at.

I would use 15w-40 something like Rotella or Delo 400. I wouldn't use 10w-30 being it is a 429 in a 5 ton truck.

I just bought an F-700 with a 429, low miles and well maintained. First oil change I used Napa 10w30....8 or 9 qts with oil filter.
