HMMMMMMM...I assume that you're having it done at a dealership. Too bad you can't find an independent to do it. A good number of our techs work for themselves after hours...save folks a lot of money. Dealerships pay a tremendous amount of overhead...thus...they hav eto charge a lot more for their work.

Oh, 60K service..duh. Luckily, one of our members is a Ford tech, and he has done a lot of work for me.

I'm only at 42K on my 06. I know the tranny service was pricey at 30K.

Good morning Ken, Pat, Chris, Steve, Brian and anyone I missed..

Welcome to November...

Chris, I didn't have to steal any candy..

I bought enough and we only had 5 kids come by..

So that leaves a few bags to work on..

I only have 39K on my 06 Pat..

I don't remember having to pay a lot for tranny service at 30K...

Maybe that was because I have a manual tranny..

Morning Don. I wish I had the manual. But with a wife who can't drive a manual (and she was raised on a farm, so what's up with that??), and not being able to trust anyone driving it for me on a boat ramp, I went with the auto.

I hear that...

The only problem with the manual is the turbo lag is something awful.. I have to rev higher before shifting otherwise it can't get out of it's own way..
