That F350 will look sharp when it’s done. It already looks quite nice.

I got this 81 F700 Fire truck about 2 months ago and sold it about a week ago to local fire department. I had some plans for it but came up with a better idea. It was a cool truck to drive. It will be put to good use in Pacific Northwest.

Here is my C-600.

Here is my F-550 crane when I bought it. Not necessarily a heavy truck, but its within 400 lb of the same GVW as my C-600.

66 F-600 330MD 4spd
Not mine.
Belongs to a local well service that bought it new.
Pulled the pump out of my 420 ft well today
You don't see many of these old trucks still on the job these days
That's my F-450 and trailer with the new replacement pipe

Purchased last December from local DPW, 1 owner truck with complete service records (46 years worth). Replaced brake master cylinder to fix a leak, and rebuilt carb. Ready for service again!

fordrealdrive that is an awesome truck! Do you have a build thread on it anywhere? I would be very interested in more details on the split braking setup that you have.

1952 Ford Coe: thank you much!

73F700: Thanks👍🏻. I should put a thread together & tell it's story, might be a chopped up mess of a thread though. I'm pretty certain this truck originally came with single hydrovac brakes just like every other 1970's F600 4x4 I've had the opportunity to look at. At some point the truck was fitted with a 1 3/4" bore dual reservoir master cylinder of unknown origins on a homemade bracket, & the second hydrovac booster also added. The plumbing of the 2 circuits is where it got interesting & confusing. 1 reservoir & booster went to the front brakes with the other reservoir going through a mico lock & then booster to the rear. After studying the '78 Ford shop manual I decided to strip the brake lines & start over following this diagram.

I've also purchased the differential valve shown in the diagram, replaced the rear booster & rebuilt the rear brakes, which was non-operational when I purchased the truck. I still need to get the correct master cylinder & will probably go ahead replace the forward booster too. I need to find the wire harness for the differential valve, stop light switch & brake warning lamp too. Pressure bleeder already purchased to tackle the 13 brake bleeders lol.

Thank you for that diagram - definitely puts a different twist on what I had in mind. I am hoping to change mine over this spring to a simple split front/back system with a proportioning valve.
