Just pulled my new old 56 out of the barn and ready to install the bed. The darn leaves keep coming but not so bad now that trees are cleaned out.

Hi Ho Hi Ho......off to work I go!

 

The '95 got hauled away a week ago Monday. Off to be transformed into Maytag LOL!! The insurance gave me GOOD money for it, so it's gone. After purchasing the '89 I still got $2500 left over!! Wahoo!

While working on the leaves, I hopped on the ol Cubbie to grind up a few leaves left over........and noticed the LF wheel wobbl'n around. Found out the wheel bearing fell apart. Had to stop at Bearing Dist. on the way to work and get new ones(got all four), as I don't want to have any issues this winter when I got the plow on it.

 

just got done breaking another leaf rake they don't make them to last any more.Thought it was a cheap rake but its a true temper.Need a 2 foot wide steel one!!!

 

I am doing all the maintenance on my case tractors and this year have 2 with chains and ag tires and plows...and both are hydraulic lift for the plow....NICE!!
I just ordered a new starter in case and will calcium and install wheel weights asap....my wife complains I am going overboard but you never know.

Just another day and got a meeting that i am not looking forward to tonight, i might need to bring my sleeping bag if it goes on past midnight, at least there is a bar close by..

Raking leaves in the snow today!!!!But it stopped snowing way to early for that .But just a reminder put your snow brush back in the car When i left work last night i had to wait for the wind shield to defrost.

 

Well after the ling meeting last night, i slept in a bit, now getting ready to head south for a two day training , then turn around and come right home , gotta love 16 hrs one the road in a 36 hr period..

gotta change oil in the truck and clean it out yet..

at least the weather is fairly decent...and thanks for the reminder a on the ice scraper , hard to believe its just about winter again..

We are still busy in are place there is talk that they may hire some people in January.When they had there lay offs the people wouldn't be recalled they have to reapply or come in as a temp. and see about getting rehired

Took atour of my old shop last night,and had dinner with new owner and his wife.
They are still doing ok but it was hard to see my old machine tools after all these years.

Anyone know of a good cheap car trailer closeby? Bill
