Yo Peeps!

I know there have to be several of you who have changed the amber lenses on your towing mirrors to the smoked version...the Recons.

I'm looking for an amber lens replacement. I've done this once already and it's painfully expensive because Ford doesn't sell just the amber lens cover. You have to purchase the entire back of the mirror...and then you get to pay to have it painted to match...I have a King Ranch and it would really look stupid to have one green and one grey cover. So I had my body shop paint the new back cover...because just sure as the sun comes up, some danged fool will smack the back cover and I'll have to replace it too. Oh yeah...mine is a 2003 so I need the smooth curved amber lens...not the new square model.

If you have installed the smoked lenses and would consider selling me your amber set please let me know. I'm in need of the driver's side lens but I know sooner or later, somebody will manage to damage the one on the passenger side ...so I might as well get the set of both. I'll gladly cover shipping costs...just let me know how much you want for the pair.

i too have a 2004 f250 that i purchased used that someone used my amber lens like a wrecking crew my mirrors are ok but the lens are all cracked please let me know if you have some for sale i live in tn and will pay shipping or what ever we can agree on i do not really want to replace the whole mirror because of the cost
