Salvage Yards in NJ?
Or NYC metro, I guess...
I have a 1972 F-100 with a 460. I need some simple things like a new dash pad as well as some major things like a new unrusted bed. Ive done some random driving in central NJ (Middlesex Co.), but have come up with nothing. One guy mentioned some place called J and S or somesuch near Smithburg somewhere, but I couldnt find it. Can anyone give me any recommendations?

washington auto wreckers on RT 51 (I THINK) in washinton twp. allthey have is trucks. the owners name is Paul. he and his wife run the place. paul use to work at a ford assembly plant in the 70's so he knows these trucks inside out. also they is a yard in rahway nj just off of 1&9 it is called T&E the guy you have to deal with there can be a real dick. so dont **** him off. they have a small yard next to there main yard with nothing but truck in it BUT you have to ask to go in there. other wise he'll tell you to look in the main yard and there's not too many trucks in there. there is also yards on Texas Rd east off of RT 9 in old bridge. hope this helps

Say, how is the club going out there in Waldwick? Is your club only limited to 30+ year old F100's? I have a 70 F250 4x4 so I assume I don't qualify (except for the fact that its old). Looking to find other old Ford truck drivers in the area..
