code p1211 & p1249 question
Hi, this is my first post. Ive got a 02 f350 with the 7.3 and a six speed. It has the Banks six gun tuner, air raid intake, along with the Magnaflow 4" turbo-back exhaust. Im running 37X13.5X17 toyos. Normally, with the cruise control set at 65mph, my EGT's are around 450 to 550 degrees on level ground. Yesterday, with C.C. set and climbing a slight grade my EGT's hit around 900 or so followed with the check engine light, that stayed on till I shut the truck off. I pulled the codes p1211, and p1249. I cleared the codes and Ive noticed my egts are running higher than normal (700 to 800) at freeway speeds. Does anyone have any ideas?

1211 is ICP uncontrollable. It's a somewhat normal code for a tuned truck. It just means the HPOP can't keep up with the demand.
1249 is wastegate code. Have a look at that and see if something is going on there...
