Heater / AC Blend Door Actuator (clicking)
what is the difference between part # XF2H-19E616-FA
and part # YL5Z-19E616-AA? the middle numbers are the same.
and they look the same? the first one is mine. Blend door actuator out of a 2000 ford windstar. Will another part # work?
if the connection is the same?
Thanks for your help.

Hello, I was glad to fine this web site.
I don't think there's a difference.
mine came out of a windstar but there in most fords.
Then I noticed only the first 4 and last 2 letters were different.
I looked at allot of them for allot of fords on ebay. some have a different connection but allot of them look identical.
19E616 is the same on them I thinking they will work and I can just buy the cheapest one.
Thank you for your reply, sorry for being so jumpy.
Thanks again for the welcome.

Its best to spend the few dollars more to get the correct one. Some are EATC controlled, some Semi EATC, some Manual. Every blend door has a different length of throw from full open to full closed and therefore would show different resistance values for each increment of position. Some of the leads are for door position feedback so one actuator indicating half open may have the same resistance as one at full open. There is a reason for those numbers and for keeping the correct part with the correct application. The middle set of numbers is simply a base number for all electronic actuators of that type. They can be blend door, fresh air door, floor door, or other mode control door actuators and have the same base part number. Some actuators have different shaped shafts on them too. Some are entirely different like on the late models but still have the 19E616 base part number.
It can be very easy to have the wrong part.
