Dave is refering to a TWO speed wiper switch.
You cannot use a TWO speed wiper switch in place of a ONE (single) speed wiper switch.
Ford ID number marked on switch: C3TB-17A553-G1 = Ford part number: C3TZ17A553G .. Single Speed Wiper Switch-5 terminals (Motorcraft SW722) / Obsolete
Fits: 1963/66 F100/600 with single speed wiper motor.
Sorry...no Ford Dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.
------------------------------------------------------
NOTE: There is a single speed 1963/66 ECONOLINE wiper switch with 5 terminals: C3UZ17A553C.
I found a few of these...but I do not know if it will work in a F100/600...or not.
GREEN SALES CO. in Cincinnati OH has NINE = 800-543-4959.
What I suggest you do is...call Green Sales, ask them to bring this switch to the phone...then y'all can compare it with yours.

Tonkaman3, first let me take the opportunity to welcome u to FTE, the Ford Truck Enthusiast Forum. Sorry, it's a good example why it's important to check out sources, and referrals. Fortunately Bill came to the rescue, 'again'. Would assume if sales person was given P/N they would have known it's a single speed switch, depending upon supplier, that's not always the case. Bill, thanks for clarifying, the switch aint cheap. Again, welcome to FTE!

F250GH: Does your truck have windshield washers and did your old switch run them when you pulled on it? Does your new one, again assuming that you have windshield washers?
I have two C3TB-17A553-G1 switches. You can't pull on the original switch from my '65 M250 Standard Cab, no windshield washers. But I just grabbed another switch from a '66 M100 Custom Cab and you can pull on the switch?
It has a extra white wire that I'm hoping will run a winshield washer pump?

#1) Marked C3TB-17A553-G or G1 = C3TZ17A553G (Motorcraft SW722) / Single Speed / 5 terminals / 1963/66 F100/600.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
#2) Marked C3TB-17A553-A or C3TB17A553E = C3TZ17A553E (Motorcraft SW721) / 2 Speed / 4 terminals / 1963/65 F100/350 / 1966 F100/350 before serial number 760,001.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
#3) Marked C6TB-17A553-B = C6TZ17A553B (Motorcraft SW736) / Use with w/s washers / 2 speed / 7 terminals / 1966 F100/350 from serial number 760,001.
This switch also contains the washer switch, activated when the **** is pulled out.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The other switches do not have this feature. If factory installed electric w/s washers are present, there is a separate washer switch on the dash above the ignition switch.
This same switch (2C11500) was also used (believe it...or not) as a starter button on 1948/52 trucks.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ford also offered two types of dealer installed w/s washers.
One type had an electrically operated foot pedal. Depressing the pedal activated the w/s washers.
The other type had a manually operated foot pedal that had to be pumped to activate the w/s washers.

F250GH: Thanks, I was hoping that that my '66 single speed switch could run the wipers, oh well. I tried to find a closed circuit on any two wires when I pulled the switch out, but no luck. Maybe we broke it trying to get the **** off or maybe some switches pull out, yet do nothing?
Bill: Thanks for posting all that switch info, again. I had read bits and pieces in previous posts from you and other members. I have two C3TB-17A553-G1 switches, one pulls out, one does not? I guess I'll just keep the '66 switch for a spare, luckily I got it real cheap!

Previous factory installed w/s washers have a separate switch on the dash.
FTE member F250GH's truck is a 1965, so it does not have this switch. And, since it's a Good Humor Ice Cream truck, it does not have windshield washers. Doesn't have a cab, either.
Click on F250GH's user name, then "See public profile" look to the right on this page at his album...there it is.
