If you tow and have tow tunes, then you'll also see what kind of potential your truck has. Congrats!!!!

DP TUNER PLUG, A "carbon offset" we can get behind finally!

1 I have single shots, a van turbo and the DP, WOW MF AN A! 40 econ, 60 tow, and 140 extreme, all of them make life awesome, in econ i figger i am getting about 20 MPG or better, and in EXTREME unless youre a built up car or truck theres no way youre keeping up, and besides that the black cloud I produce people will go out of thier way to avoid it!

now theres a "carbon offset" i can get behind.

I have to agree. I have a dp tuner and it is out of this world. I have 35" tires and I hit the pedal about half way down from a rolling start and the tires broke loose. I would like to see what would happen if I hammered it. That was in 80 econ. I have
1-Stock
2-45mph valet
3-Drive Thru
4-40 tow
5-60 tow
6-80 tow
7-60 Econo
8-80 Econo
9-100 perf
10-120 race
11-140 Extreme
12-140 Aggressive

So plenty of higher tunes.

I am just worried about snapping an axel or something like that.

Me too, this is kinda whats keeping me from pulling the trigger.

I think the transmission is the most concerning item though.

From all the threads( hundreds) that I read about dp tuner I cant remember any about blown transmissions from it.. Remember, the gas pedal under your foot, im not going to beat on it but its also just an overall better feel, better shift points is one of the best changes.

Yeah, it's an amazing difference! I really like how the trans shifts once you put a shift kit in (I have the TransGo Tugger in mine) and have the tunes set up to match. I can vouch for the mileage and power bump with singles. I'm running SS hybrids and just had a highway run at 22.1 mpg. But it's a double-edged sword -- I just filled up and got 14 mpg. BUT that was after 3 or 4 hours of idling and really "playing" with the new sticks.

Congrats on the tunes -- good luck, and it's just the beginnnig...

That is one of my next to do things after the 6.0 IC and trans cooler. I haven;t been paying attention to the MPG's since the install, having to much fun. I do know that I can trip the SES light for overboost in stock with the cruise control switch off. Looks like the OBA will be going in this week.

Thanks Joe Much appreciated.
