Coolant leak, suspect heater hose

Have a pesky leak that seems to end up on the bottom of my starter. I don't think this is my water pump. I believe it is one of the heater hoses. I would like to change these out, but I am not sure how to remove the clamps that secure them at the firewall. They look like they are crimped on. Any suggestion would be much appreciated!

There should be two white plastic tabs in a retainer. Squeeze the white tabs inwards and pull the heater hose off...

If the heater hose is leaking, you should see coolant where the leak is. Run a white rag on all the hose clamps to see which one is leaking. I haven't heard much about these connections leaking.

Well I finally tracked down the leak. It was the valve I installed for shutting off the hot water to the heater core for cooler A/C. Or rather it was the worm clamps! I just didn't have them tight enough. I put a socket wrench on them and tightened them up, and low and behold no more leaks. Glad when it is something simple, hate when it is also something stupid. Oh well, live and learn.
