Hi,has anyone used an Airtex or Delphi fuel pump in their explorers?I can get Airtex at Advance Auto & Autozone and Delphi at NAPA.Are they decent quality? I think Motorcraft is probably better but I hate to spend $350-$400 on one if I can get a good one for half that.Thanks for any advise. I really need to get my 96 explorer going before winter sets in.

 

I have used Airtex in my Aerostar, so far it still works. Some have told me the Delphi is better, but some of those are also chevy fans, so I take i with a grain of salt. In my opinion, the Motorcraft is worth it, you can get them at Auto Parts Fast at RockAuto.

 

Used Airtex many times and never had one fail. Airtex is a quality brand. I put one in my F150 and if I need a pump for my Sport Trac I'll use them again.
