So at my latest pub crawl of which you may know I know drive every once in awhile.
Anyways I was heading north on idwyld from the Double Deuce headed to the Pat. and there was a checkstop for poteintial drunk drivers. I got waved in... about 3 officers approached the driver side of the bus 1 of them asked me through my window have I been drinking tonight, of course my answer was no (and I hadn't)
then asked where I was headed and coming from
third question is there any open liquor on the vehichle.... Now at this moment I got 2 officers shinning in lights through the windows and about 40 drunks yelling, cheering, slamming on the bus as per usual.
My answer was "as a rule no, there is a doorman checking for liquor and smoking, but it does get hidden and people try to sneak it on still"
I guess they didn't see any through the windows and waved me on through
I think the police should cut you some slack on a question like that.......They KNOW it is a "drunks" bus and there shouldn't be any booze on board but so what if there was. Everyone involved is taking steps to minimize drunk driving....the drunks are the bus.....you hadn't been drinking.
