your e7 heads are what should be on your 5.0 anyway putting the 351 heads on is just going to be a pain in the *** since you have to either use special bolts or special washers since a 351 uses bigger head bolts than a 302

are you trying to keep your fuel injection? and i hate e7s i ran a ported set of e7s for a while and have ran 160cc systemax heads and currently have 190cc trickflow heads on my 302, i'd bet with just the head and cam change i doubled the h/p from stock

if you are hardpressed at using those e7 351 heads then edelbrock makes headbolt shims so you can use the stock head bolts for the 302 or you can make the bolt holes in the 302 the same size as the 351 which is what you do when you have a lot of forced induction since the bigger bolts hold the head down better. you will want to change out the springs on your head to match the cam you get stock springs are only good for like .500 lift which is nothing right now i am running .598 lift on my motor, be sure to check piston valve clearance when you go over like .530 lift

You already have E7 heads on your 5.0 so don't waste your time taking them off unless you got GT40's or something better to replace them.

There are only a few cams that will work with the EFI system you have.. one of them is the Comp cam in my sig.

If those heads only have 15k miles on them, I would leave them on the truck unless you have GT40s like was previously stated. They should be E7s anyway.
