The original Ford manuals are going to have more information and pictures than any of the aftermarket manuals. Just look on ebay under Motors/Parts & Accessories/Manuals and search for '69 Ford Truck. I recently bought the whole '67 set (3 volumes plus the lube manual) for about $40 plus shipping. Just like the trucks, you can buy a ratty one for less or a mint one for more. You can also buy them all on a single CD.

If you care enough to want a manual in the first place and think you need one, then the real only one to get is a Ford Factory Set of Manuals. Do just like "xstrange" suggested above and get yourself a set on e-bay. E-bay is the quickest and easiest source of these and they seem to be available most all of the time.....pricey, well maybe, but Ford Dealers charge a shop rate of $85 an hour...........won't take very long to get your money back!

Used and reprints of Genuine Ford shop manuals: faxonautolit.com.

Faxon's store is located in Riverside CA. He also has original owners manuals, sales brochures, and etc.

I have the full set of shop manuals for 69, they are not the answer to every question but I am really glad we found them in the truck when we bought it. I also got the parts catalogue from HiPO, and it provided better diagrams of some parts.

This is where I got my manuals from. Great people to deal with.
